The Challenge

LinkMe had the idea and the momentum for a genuinely new way to consolidate profiles, backed by sharp marketing that was already pulling in real user traffic. What it didn't have yet was the backend to match that ambition.

The team, fully remote and operating around the clock, needed infrastructure that could keep pace with a fast, agile development process one where developers could ship changes quickly without waiting on brittle deployment processes or infrastructure bottlenecks.

The Impact

The infrastructure CloudZenia built now does exactly what LinkMe's remote, always-on team needed it to: scale seamlessly, stay secure, and stay out of the way.

Traffic spikes are handled gracefully thanks to ECS and its load balancers, so performance stays consistent even as the user base grows. Search feels fast and reliable, helping people actually engage with feeds and profiles instead of waiting on them. Deployments happen continuously and without downtime, letting LinkMe's developers ship new features on their own timeline rather than working around infrastructure constraints.

On the cost side, moving from large EC2 instances to ECS-based microservices brought spending down without giving up scalability or performance and with AWS CloudWatch and OpenSearch feeding real-time insight into the system, potential issues get flagged and handled proactively. RDS Aurora rounds it out with reliable, always-available access as LinkMe's global user base continues to grow.
